Willfully Living
Willfully Living

Hey Friends! I'm Will Morgan

In 2011, I traveled to Alaska to try my hand as a commercial fisherman. I arrived homeless, jobless, and broke and had the time of my life. After a few weeks of networking and living in a treehouse in the woods, I landed a deckhand position on a commercial fishing vessel and began a career pulling salmon from the beautiful Prince William Sound and did so for the next 7 years.

After the 2015 salmon season, my beautiful wife Jaimie and I embarked on a voyage around the world. We traveled across Southeast Asia for 3 months and then drove a campervan 16,000 kilometers across 22 European countries over 5 months.

We now live in the mountains near Denver, Colorado where I work as Chief of Staff for a tech startup. We have four wonderfully feral boys, aged 5, identical twin 3-year-olds, and a newborn. We go camping several times a month in the summer and dogsledding with our Samoyed, Eksa, in the winter months.

I am extremely passionate about travel, adventure, intentional living, and pursuing a meaningful life of purpose. I hope my writings and photos inspire and encourage you to pursue those things in your own life. Life is a beautiful journey and with each passing second, we have a choice–Passive Living or Willfully Living. I choose the latter, and I hope you do too.
